the following is a collection of terms and phrases found in the Manga.
Sky point: Sky point is normally a sniper posted on the roofs of buildings along major streets and intersections
Tagged: Tagged has two meanings, one being branded as a Yuurei; being implanted with a chip, and tattoo. The second term is used for those to be targeted for assassination.
Blanked: To be blanked means that an individual has been given a drug cocktail that puts them in a hypnotic like daze, removing any free will, memories or emotion while the drug is active. In high doses the cocktail can cause temporary, to permanent memory loss. Those who are used as company property often have a chocker, or armlet with sensors and small viles of the drug, to instantly inject it’s wearer once drug levels start to wear off.
Cleaner: generic slang term for an Assassin working under corporate contracts.
Glaikit quinie: Scottish slang, derived from Gaelic roots, meaning ” stupid girl” though used by Aioden (aikoku tora) often as a pet name for female friends.
